This roles responsible to lead the overall development and management of the MLE framework and systems to collect data and conduct analysis to produce information on inputs, outputs, outcomes, and impact of the programmes through collaborations with Impact Area Leads and Programme Coordination teams. Conduct evaluation of grants, monitoring and evaluation at impact areas/ approach level.

Responsibilities
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Support in ensuring monitoring and evaluation systems and tools, data collection, entry, cleaning and storage are appropriately implemented by staff. Ensure monitoring and evaluation data is analysed to an appropriate standard and that results of analysis inform decision making
Support in the review and checking of data generated being in line with the M&E reporting requirements. Support the analysis of data in line with the M&E framework
Support in preparing material for quarterly, semi-annual and annual programmatic performance report, etc
Compiles qualitative and quantitative data across projects via monitoring assessments and focus group discussions, knowledge and practice surveys and case studies. Produces documents such as lessons learnt summaries, human interest stories, etc
Support the coordination and execution of events in the department such as, capacity building programmes and organizational impact based learning
Assist in administrative matters including liaising with Finance to ensure timely disbursement. Organize other activities related to their respective function which include organize, schedule meetings and appointments for respective Head/Manager
Focus on strengthening the MLE system, building capacity of grantees and partners, and improving alignment and support to adoption of MLE systems
Other responsibilities as assigned by Head of Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning & Knowledge
Requirements
Requirements:
Degree in development studies, social work, statistics or related social science field
Desirable- Certificate or diploma in monitoring and evaluation from a recognized institution
At least 8 years’ experience in grant evaluation and monitoring preferably in non-profit organization
Good interpersonal and negotiation skills with ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization, stakeholders and external parties
Good experience in leading planning, resource management, design of systems and processes that facilitate efficient collaboration and execution of programmes
Strong analytical skills, with excellent problem solving abilities
Excellent report writing, analytical, and communication skills, including oral presentation skills
A harmonizer who can drive alignment across functions
