Internship For Literacy Teachers

To teach the children of Buku Jalanan Chow Kit about basic fundamentals, like alphabets, numbers, color and shapes, helping children to build their social skills and keeping the classroom clean and safe for all of the students and teachers.

• Develop a careful and creative program suitable for preschool children.
• Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children.
• Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem.
• Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments.
• Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.).
• Track, write children’s progress and report to parents.
• Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s background and psyche.
• Collaborate with other educators.
• Attending school-related meetings.
• preparing teaching materials.
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.

Start date : Immediately (Posted 11 January 2023).
Position : Literacy Teacher (Sekolah Buku Jalanan Chow Kit).
Duration : 3 month contract (with a possibility of renewal).
Location : Buku Jalanan Chow Kit -  54A, Lorong Haji Taib 1, Chow Kit, 50350 KL.
Allowance : Starting RM 750.00.
Working Hours : 3 Hours a day.
