The National Kidney Foundation (NKF) of Malaysia has expanded its role from being just a dialysis treatment provider, to becoming a one-stop national resource centre for all kidney-related matters. We aim to be proactive in providing education, research and advocacy on all matters relating to kidney health and responding through engagement, support and sustainable quality treatment for those suffering from kidney disease.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Fundraising, Branding, and Communications. This leadership role is crucial in driving the organization's fundraising efforts, building a strong brand presence, and enhancing communication strategies to support our mission.
Responsibilities
Key Fundraising Responsibilities:
Lead, develop, and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies/projects and new fundraising initiatives to meet annual donation targets.
Implement innovative fundraising campaigns and events to engage the community and attract support.
Manage the soliciting of donations for NKF from the general public and CSR from corporations.
Establish good PR and rapport with donors and other voluntary bodies.
Work closely with other departments in NKF for fundraising events.
Expand, cultivate, and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners.
Provide monthly reports to the Fundraising Committee.
Key Branding Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a strong brand strategy that aligns with the organization's mission and values. Formulate a focused and targeted implementation of PR campaigns.
Oversee the design and production of marketing collateral, ensuring consistent brand messaging.
Enhance brand awareness through creative and impactful campaigns across various channels.
Lead the development and execution of public relations and communication plans to effectively convey the organization's goals and achievements.
Manage media relations, including press releases, interviews, and media partnerships and ensure that all media-related projects are implemented correctly and in timely manner.
Oversee the creation of compelling content for digital platforms, newsletters, and other communication channels.
Work closely with vendors to implement the organization's branding and communications strategies.
Requirements
Degree in Management, Marketing, Mass Communications, Business, Public Relations or related field. Post Graduate degree an added advantage.
10 years experience in Fundraising, Sales & Management, Branding & Communications with proven track record.
Previous experience in non-profit organisation an added advantage.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing successful fundraising campaigns.
Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a passion for social impact.
Strong leadership & team management skills.

Possess a broad network of useful contacts.
Able to prepare and deliver confident and persuasive presentations.
