This position holds a pivotal role in elevating our fundraising strategies and advancing SOLS Foundation's mission.
As the Fundraising Manager, you will reporting to the Managing Director.
You will assume a leadership position responsible for not only expanding our fundraising efforts but also refining the strategies in place.
Your main job is to find and secure funding opportunities that match our goals. You'll build strong relationships with current and potential partners and help create funding proposals. You'll also guide and support your team members, fostering a collaborative environment that thrives on creativity and shared goals.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including the Marketing & Communications and Education departments, you will be integral in devising and executing successful fundraising campaigns and initiatives.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with the organization's goals, ensuring a diverse range of revenue sources to sustain programs and initiatives.
Identify potential funding opportunities, grants, and partnerships that align with the nonprofit's mission and objectives. Research and stay updated on industry trends and best practices in fundraising.

Lead the creation of compelling funding proposals and grant applications, clearly articulating the organization's impact, needs, and alignment with donor priorities.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing donors, sponsors, and partners. Establish connections with new potential supporters to expand the organization's network.
Implement effective donor stewardship strategies to ensure ongoing engagement, appreciation, and recognition of supporters. Develop personalized communication and engagement plans for key donors.
Lead and manage a fundraising team, providing guidance, mentorship, and motivation. Assign tasks, set goals, and ensure team members are aligned with the organization's fundraising objectives.
Collaborate closely with other departments such as Marketing, Communications, and Programs to ensure fundraising initiatives are integrated with organizational campaigns and initiatives.
Manage and monitor fundraising budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and tracking of expenses related to fundraising efforts.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of fundraising activities. Regularly assess and report on fundraising results, identifying areas for improvement and adjusting strategies as needed.
Key Targets and Results
The KPIs follow the ongoing strategic development of the organisation and the active programs at the time of service.
Requirements
1. Previous sales or fundraising experience preferred;
2. Demonstrates integrity by modelling the SOLS values and ethical standards;
3. Promotes the vision, mission, and strategic goals of SOLS;
4. Displays cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality and age sensitivity and adaptability.
5. Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
6. Organises and accurately completes multiple tasks by establishing priorities while taking into consideration special assignments, frequent interruptions, deadlines, available resources and multiple reporting relationships.
7. Establishes, builds and maintains effective working relationships with staff to facilitate the provision of support.
8. Knowledge on community and social work, impact organisations, fundraising, and education preferred;
9. Ability to lead implementation of new systems, to work in a team and autonomously, in person and remotely.
10. Consistently approaches work with a positive, constructive attitude, an eye for detail and seeking to improve processes.
11. Demonstrates openness to feedback, improvement, change and has ability to manage complexities.
12. Salary range/maximum salary RM5,000 - RM6,000
