* This programme is guided by Jo Leen Yap (Dusky Jie Jie), the Founder and Head of Langur Project Penang (LPP), and PhD Candidate of Universiti Sains Malaysia.

One of the hidden gems in Penang, the Teluk Bahang Recreational Park offers an authentic and close-to-nature experience for families. Follow team LPP as we visit the museum gallery with numerous educational facts about the natural history in Penang, as well as take a short hike along the undisturbed rainforest trail in the area.

Join us in this new LPP langur-rainforest programme, <Explore, Discover, Rimba!> where we explore the Taman Rimba to learn about the flora and fauna in Penang, by following the footsteps of Dusky Jie Jie (sister)!

Parents and children 6 years & above are welcome to sign up for this guided hike & walk opportunity around the park to appreciate nature, enhance family bonding & be a part of our conservation project’s Monkey Warriors!
We adhere to a social distancing protocol, hence only a maximum of 15 slots are available for this programme. LPP educators will be wearing a face mask throughout the programme.
