Teach For All is a global network of independent partner organizations in 61 countries around the world and a global organization working to grow collective leadership so that all children can fulfill their potential. Collective leadership requires a new set of leadership capacities - e.g., deepening awareness about ourselves and the world, building authentic relationships across lines of difference, mobilizing change in complex systems, and more.
We recently launched an exciting new initiative, a Global Leadership Accelerator, to grow these leadership competencies among tens of thousands of leaders who are working to reimagine education around the world.
You will join an entrepreneurial team and play a key leadership role in building the Global Leadership Accelerator in its startup years. You’ll have an opportunity to significantly shape the direction of this exciting new initiative, and accelerate the impact of incredible social entrepreneurs, teachers and other leaders around the world who are reimagining education.
As Director of Strategy & Operations, you will work directly with the Head of the Global Leadership Accelerator to build a high-impact entrepreneurial team with an energizing culture and efficient operations; lead on building and managing our knowledge management, communications, and impact evaluation systems; provide operational support for flagship leadership programs; and offer innovative ways to scale our work so we can ultimately reach tens of thousands of leaders around the world. You will report directly to the Head of the Global Leadership Accelerator.
You are a proactive and organized professional with experience in building new systems and processes. You demonstrate exceptional organization, communication, problem-solving, and project management skills. While you can work independently and manage multiple priorities, you also thrive in working collaboratively with many others to get things done. You are passionate about bringing a new paradigm of leadership into the world and growing your own leadership in the process.
Lead efforts to ensure that we are constantly innovating on ways to systemize our programs and build them to scale
Lead on building and managing core knowledge management and impact evaluation systems for the Global Leadership Accelerator. This may include:
Launching and managing a digital leadership resource library with best-in-class leadership session guides, tools, & resources
Leading knowledge management efforts to expand access to our resources through our Partner Portal and the launch of a new external website
Leading data analysis to inform our strategic planning and key initiatives, and developing & maintaining ongoing data systems to evaluate our impact
Designing agile learning systems so that that we can reflect as a team on progress and evolve our work accordingly
Work with the Head of the Global Leadership Accelerator to build a high-impact team with a strong culture, systems and communications. This may include:
Designing and managing core team structures and processes such as strategic stepbacks, budget, and other key systems to maximize team impact
Galvanizing others around our work by crafting and managing key strategic communications with internal & external stakeholders
Proactively identifying other opportunities to maximize impact and designing new solutions, systems and processes
Provide operational support for flagship leadership programs (e.g., fellowships, workshop series, external leadership forums). This may include:
Leading or supporting on project management, internal communications, marketing, impact evaluation and other support for flagship programs
Ensuring programs are accessible to diverse audiences from 60+ countries
Superior organization and project management skills with attention to detail
Self-starter who is proactive, highly independent, and responsible
Able to manage multiple projects in a global, fast-paced, dynamic environment
Outstanding ability to develop strong relationships with diverse individuals, and to influence and motivate others at high levels in a highly virtual & global setting
Able to navigate ambiguity with good judgement, and work effectively within a matrix-based global organizational structure
Strong written and verbal communication; able to synthesize complex information into simple formats and tailor communications to diverse audiences
Able to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions or new ideas
Bring expertise in one or more of the following areas: strategic consulting; project management & operations; data analysis; online learning; knowledge management; monitoring and evaluation
Ability to work in diverse global environments with cross-cultural competence; commitment to equity and building inclusive practices and culture

At least 3-7 years of relevant professional work experience
