    Culture based economic development (CBED) flagship focuses on impactful initiatives that leverage unique cultural assets to develop local economies. Our works include physical conservation work, culture related curation or programming, grants, strategic documents and more.

    As a Senior Associate in Think City's CBED flagship, you will be responsible in supporting business development, project management and stakeholder management. You will get opportunities to be exposed to rich cultural heritage and work closely with local community and grassroots.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include:

    • Managing culture-related projects or grants
    • Managing key stakeholders and liaising with government authorities
    • Assisting in business development by preparing proposals and pitch decks
    • Reporting by synthesizing findings, outcomes and recommendations to relevant stakeholders via written reports and presentations
    • Conducting site visits e.g. site observation, community engagement
    • Supporting branding and marketing of CBED projects
    Requirements

    Minimum qualifications

    • Degree in any field

    Minimum years of experience

    • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience

    Kind of Experience

    • Exposure or keen in interest in cultural heritage and urban development
    • Exposure to government processes and experience working with government
    • Experience in managing grants
    • Strong local networks and ability to build new networks
    • Verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
