In this role, you will work with the team, using quantitative and qualitative data to understand pain points in learning about and applying financial education concepts. This is a dynamic role that will primarily serve 3 key functions:
Research, content creation & analysis
● Conduct research and gather accurate data on topics related to personal and business finance including but not
limited to loan products, investment products, debt management etc. This will involve conducting interviews with
target audience to understand their educational needs, and to determine the key pieces of information a person
needs to know to make good financial decisions
● Conceptualise and deliver analysis on financial literacy topics and support in planning and managing the different
programme elements and ensuring timely delivery of the planned tasks.
● Collaborate with subject matter experts, content creators, designers, and videographers among others and support
the efforts in developing engaging and informative content that resonates with the target audience.
● Ensure the content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with the program's objectives including social media and
digital marketing content
Testing, implementation & monitoring
● Assisting with the execution, monitoring and evaluation of the Multiply program in the communities
● Identify, foster, curate, and drive hypothesis testing to validate platform (Multiply) with users and other stakeholders
● Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including
1) Web Developers to determine flexible platform architectures,
2) Partnerships to identify third-party organizations that accelerate the platform’s vision and
3) Designers to ideate Multiply’s platform concepts including an eye for UIUX
Distribution & Partnerships
● Assisting Programme Manager in the design of new initiatives to conduct effective outreach to our target groups
● Researching and identifying potential partners and specific areas of collaboration and developing materials for
partnership engagements
The minimum qualifications are:
● At least 2-3 years of professional experience
● Experience or strong interest in financial literacy is a must. Undergraduate degree with a specialisation in, economics, finance, or accounting preferred
● Strong research and analytical abilities
● Strong understanding/contextualisation of the challenges faced by B40 communities is a must
● Outstanding written English and oral communication skills and fluency in Bahasa Malaysia preferred
● Prior experience with content creation, especially with breaking down complex issues into digestible formats (e.g. social media slides, reels, etc) will be a plus
Additionally, the successful candidate will possess the following:
● A proven track record of preparing presentations and reports at a high quality
● Excellent Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
● Strong attention to detail
● Ability to work independently and set priorities and handle multiple, competing time and resource demands
● Energy, professionalism and composure under pressure
● A good communicator (conversationalist, presenter and writer) able to communicate with a broader audience about the initiatives supported by the Foundation
