In 2022, we launched the inaugural Malaysia Teacher Prize (MTP), the localised version of the renowned Global Teacher Prize, in partnership with YTL Foundation and Varkey Foundation. Malaysia Teacher Prize is organised to shine a light on the unsung heroes who are championing the next generation of Malaysians and empower them with a platform to generate sustainable impact. In our first year, we received over 800 applications from all over Malaysia from which we had our first lineup of Top 10 Finalists and the Winner of the Malaysia Teacher Prize. Join us in continuing this mission to unearth shining examples of Malaysian educators and elevate the status of the teaching profession.
