Associate, Malaysia Teacher Prize (MTP)

Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Programme Management and Implementation:
Assist programme team to deliver the Malaysia Teacher Prize. Work with the Organisation Leads and Manager(s) to:

• Work closely with a diverse team to foster a collaborative, innovative, efficient and inclusive work environment.
• Implement a rigorous process and implementation plan for MTP to ensure inclusivity and accessibility besides maintaining the standards of the Prize.
• Prepare, run and deliver informational and training sessions related to the Prize.
• Coordinate events related to MTP such as but not limited to the Launch, info sessions and the Award Ceremony.
• Provide continuous support and communication to stakeholders by coordinating with partners, judges and the general public to ensure the Prize is well represented.
• Reflect and record key learnings from each part of the Prize’s implementation to continuously improve on the delivery of the Prize.
• Execute any assigned tasks by Manager(s) and Organisation Lead(s).

Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL):
Work with Organisation Leads and Programme Manager(s) to:

• Implement the Prize’s impact measurement framework to measure the short-term and long-term effectiveness of the Prize on education outcomes.
• Co-design quantitative and qualitative evaluation studies, such as running surveys and interviews with stakeholders of the Prize, using various data collection tools.
• Monitor and analyse information using data analysis tools throughout the Prize implementation to translate findings into actionable insights for its improvement.
• Prepare, produce and present reports, dashboards and visualisations to maintain strong communication of the Prize with internal and external stakeholders in an easily-understandable and timely manner.
• Foster a culture of evidence-based decision-making within the team and among stakeholders through proactive use of MEL resources and innovations in MEL.
• Execute any assigned tasks by Manager(s) and Organisation Lead(s).

Communications and Stakeholder Engagement:
Work with Organisation Leads and Programme Manager(s) to:

• Engage and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including but not limited to the Ministry of Education officials, education partners, media, judges, MTP Finalists and participants as well as the general public to uphold branding of the Prize.
• Execute steps to promote and market the Prize, including supporting collaborations with stakeholders to generate interest in the Prize.
• Liaise with the team to plan, curate, design, track and deliver updates to stakeholders in a timely manner, including multimedia content and documents.
• Prepare and deliver any necessary formal communications to engage stakeholders, including but not limited to emails, letters, presentation slides, informational packets, press releases, social media posts and communication messages.
• Execute any assigned tasks by Manager(s) and Organisation Lead(s).
