Established in 2007, Health Equity Initiatives (HEI) is a Malaysian not for profit health organization based in Kuala Lumpur.
The organization is committed to advancing the right to health of marginalized populations through its integrated and comprehensive core programs.
HEI’s team of health professionals carries out community based health interventions, professional mental health services, research and monitoring activities, and evidence based advocacy. HEI also has an internship and elective program for students of medicine.
HEI primarily works with refugees and asylum seekers in Malaysia, and the organization believes community decision-making and participation are critical to empowering marginalized communities.
HEI is currently looking for a warm-hearted and energetic Associate Administrator with the following responsibilities:
1. Management of front office
2. Maintenance of available and accessible forms repository
3. Support the management of facilities and assets
4. Support the management of in-kind donations
5. Support the management of organization events
Qualification and criteria:
1. Malaysian or Permanent Resident or Spouse of a Malaysian on a spouse visa
2. Has relevant Administrative, Secretarial or Bookkeeping training and qualifications (Provide details)
3. Courteous, helpful personality who proactively relates well to visitors in a multi-ethnic or multicultural environment
4. Able to communicate clearly and calmly
5. Familiar with MS Word, and basic Excel
6. Careful with documentation and data entry
7. Good communicative ability in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and any other languages will be an advantage
