Founded in 2016, by SHARIFAH Shakirah, Rohyngia Women Development Network (RWDN) is the first and only Rohingya women’s group in Malaysia.

The following are the priority focus areas for RWDN for the next 5 years:

a.  Education: Strong patriarchal systems and practices in the Rohingya community has resulted in females being deprived of education which in turn gives rise to illiteracy and disempowerment.
