The Public Bank Group has a wide network of 293 domestic branches and 150 overseas branches, with a combined workforce of over 19,000 people in Malaysia and across the region.  The Group’s Corporate Philosophy guides their sustainability practices and strategy which aims for ‘Organic Growth Strategy in Retail Banking Business’, focusing on 5 main areas; Responsible Business, Conduct and Compliance, Managing Environmental Impact, Developing Employees and Corporate Citizenship. One of Public Bank Group’s sustainability commitment is to make positive contribution by enhancing the quality of life of the wider community by supporting and empowering them while identifying, mitigating and managing modern slavery and human rights risks across the supply chain.

The Group’s total net profit amounted to RM5.66 billion during FY2021.

The total dividend payout of RM2.95 billion represents 52.2% of the Group’s net profit for FY2021.

Total cash contributions made by Public Bank Berhad during FY2021, was approximately RM3.9 million, not including the Staff Donation programme.

Total in-kind contributions made by the Group was worth approximately RM0.11 million and more, not including givings made by employees.

Campu Bank also contributed USD100 to Angkor Hospital for Children to support medical checkup, health care and treatment for Cambodian children. Additionally, Campu Bank donated USD5,100 to the Cambodian Red Cross to support local community welfare.
